Meija: Blazers won't make it this year
The larger premise fails to cover errors on the details.
It is hard to disagree with Tony Mejia's main premise that the Blazers are getting good, but are not strong enough to get into the playoffs this year. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nba/story/10544335
But then he goes on to say that Boston is the NBA team of the week. So far this season, Boston has been the team of the year, but last week, if it did not belong to the Blazers, it did not belong to any other team.

I can agree with you
Then again, I've stopped trying to forecast the blazers play. They've been amazing and I'm just living in and enjoying the moment. The future will be upon us soon enough. For now... I'm savoring this moment for all it's worth because wins have never tasted so sweet.

Almost every national pundit
- The odds against a young team making such a leap are long.
- They haven't seen enough of the Blazers to make them say any different.

Meh, bad article
This author does the former, but not the latter. Like most national pundits, his reasoning is that "They shouldn't get this good this fast, it just can't happen."
That sort of reasoning, or lack of it, is quickly becoming tiresome.
