Amazing...
...how solid Walton's game was that year. Says a lot about Coach Wooden's influence. Walton's defensive positioning and motion are incredible for a big man.
On another related note, I remember Bill had a stuttering problem in his early years. It was uncomfortable to watch him try to speak. Look (or rather listen to) at him now. No matter how you feel about the guy, he is an overcomer.
