I am involved in the fantasy league that was created and composed entirely by members of this site. I am having a good time in it despite getting stomped into the pavement this week (Thanks Duncan and Jksnake99), but the one thing that is starting to ride me is the apparent number of people who aren't playing. Part of the fanatsy thing is trying to work with what you have. In a 20 team league there are absolutely no free agents that will improve your team drastically. That leaves us with trades. When I try and make a trade it just sits there, no rejection, no nothing. Just sits. The autodraft made it so that you were lucky or not, and with the number of people who aren't playing that really seems to be the deciding factor at this point. I propose that we do one of two things;
- Switch the people in charge of the teams who aren't playing with other people who will pick up the ball and try to work with what they have (which would take a special kind of person since the people who aren't play and aren't subbing their guys are getting smeared), or
- Drop those teams that aren't doing anything and have a weighted draft based on current team records.
