trav's the real deal

i saw this on espn.com today and don't think it's been mentioned on here but two guys over there talk about a few players and whether they are the real deal or not and one of them happened to be out own travis outlaw. i'll let you check it out yourself (don't think you need insider) but they have some good things to say.

Travis Outlaw: Awesome

I've said a lot of things about the guy, questioned his intelligence, etc etc. but I've been proven totally wrong and I couldn't be happier about it. He's fighting with Brandon for the title of the Blazers' best player.

Great stuff

it would be really nice if they fixed the Bo Outlaw photo at some point... it's one thing when Travis is a national nobody, but seeing as he'd been getting lots of national media love lately I'm having a harder time understanding why ESPN doesn't correct what they've got going on with that photo. It's kind of funny, but at a certain point is reaches complete and utter negligence.

This is a gut check

for all the Blazer haters. To see anyone outside of Roy, and Aldridge, have good comments on espn is a good sign. The one thing that does bother me though, is the espn power rankins. The last time I saw it (midweek) had the Blazers listed as #20. Can we please get some love from the powers that be in reporting???? And is it just my thinking, or does anyone esle think that teams are not excited about playing us now that we have seen the team jell and play as hard as they have
