Trout's TOs

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3726/gamelog;_ylt=AstYUxRIeNWygyEFj5oTD5ukvLYF

I was just looking at his game log. Does he actually have ZERO turnovers in the last 5 games? That is simply insane. His value as a volume bench scorer and an uber athlete is useful enough as it is, but he's learned how to take care of the ball now too?

Some of his missed 18 foot fadeaways
might as well be turnovers. I like Trout, but that man needs to go to the cup A LOT more.

I think Travis' shot selection has drastically
improved in this recent run.  At last night's game I was talking with my wife about how happy I am that he is taking the ball into the basket more often than he used to... and actually mentioned that he's not a great dribbler so it can be a little risky but he seems to be improving on that as well.  He also did a spin to not get trapped helping to bring the ball up the court last night at one point.

To be clear, I still think he has a ways to go but we should all be very happy with the progress he is making.  He is handling the ball better and selecting better (if not always perfect) shots.  I would certainly call it a fluke for him to go five games with zero turnovers though, his style of play should produce a couple per game even when he's effective via slightly risky runs at the basket.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
