Ime the warrior?

From a bizarre, rambling blog over at hoopshype...

http://hoopshype.com/blogs/muoneke/index.php/2007/12/09/ime-the-great/

You'll have to scroll through umpteen paragraphs describing "servants" (I think he means "savants"), texas, training and Nigeria.  Fortunately, he put a header on the Ime story, which is near the bottom.

Awesome
Ime is a stud and I'm hoping he's getting the love he deserves in San antonio.

I'm surprised you find
Gabe Muoneke's blog rambling and bizarre.  He comes across as very interesting and intelligent to me.

There's room for overlap...
...in the Venn diagrams for rambling + bizarre and interesting + intelligent.

I heard the guys on The Fan discussing this
This was on Saturday morning.  Their version was slightly exaggerated; they said Ime had allegedly rescued a teammate from armed bandits during an Algerian political insurrection!  Regardless, the radio guys clearly put credence in the account.  No wonder Ime wasn't intimidated by would-be bullies in the NBA.  Remember?  He'd get right in their faces with a malevolent grin--like, "Please--I'm more frightened of a hangnail."

The Blazers miss Ime's toughness even more than they do his lockdown defense, veteran savvy, and corner jumper...
