Hah: I knew that title would rope in some blazeredgers! But I mean it in all sincerity, mainly because, as I recall, Shaq has punched exactly one opponent in his career: BRAD MILLER!
Boy, as someone old enough to remember Bill Laimbeer, watching Miller play is deja vu. In classic Laimbeer fashion, Miller goaded Pryz and LMA into offensive fouls (abetted by vintage Laimbeer-style acting.)
Then there were the jump balls. On ALL THREE of them, Miller blatantly jumped into the Blazer jump-ee. Thankfully, Jack was ready for Miller on the critical final jump ball, jumping right into the jumping-in Miller. The result was that Miller didn't get a clean swipe at the ball, allowing Blake to deflect it over towards Outlaw. Live by the sword, die by the sword, Brad!
The highlight of the night for me was watching Miller's hangdog body language as the Blazers emerged victorious. That was an ugly game, but the ending was sweet.
