Make Roy NEXT!!!

ESPN the MAG is doing it's annual NEXT thing.  I say that it is up the the Blazer Nation to make sure the Roy is on the cover of ESPN The MAG as the NEXT athlete.  Go to this link and vote for Roy:

http://espn.go.com/mag/

You can vote over and over again, so if you want you could do it all day long.  The only competition I really see is from Joba the Hutt, and thats only becasue he is a New York Yankee.  So go out there and vote and make sure that our Blazer gurad Roy makes it on the cover of ESPN the MAG!

I want everyone to vote as much as possible, but just letting ya know this link was also posted below.

I'd like Dave to put it on the front page so everyone for sure votes... I know honors like this are meaningless but I just think it'd be really cool for Roy to be a cover boy so soon.  Plus, once Oden is healthy and dominating, he'll be plastered on every basketball/sports magazine for a decade.

GIVE ROY HIS DAY IN THE NEWSTAND SUN!

I hadn't heard of anyone Roy is up against.  I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
