wade
him in the lineup certainly hurts our chances of winning.

still, i think we can get the job done if we make sure nobody else gets going.  let wade get his 25 (try to make sure its not 45), and keep the supporting cast down.

Go Blazers.

Without D-Wade
Blazers are favored by 5 points, You gotta think D-wade will count for 5 points on the final score

POR 30 MIA 22
B-Roy has 12 and looks good.
Webster has his stroke going and has been aggressive.
Aldridge making a difference down low. I like to see him intimidating anything around the rim.
Young guys are the biggest reason we are doing well.

POR 60 MIA 52
Roy is just money, 16 points in the half. Webster and aldrige are looking good. Its the D-wade show for miami. They need him bad because they are bad. he has 50% of their points. Gotta stop the penetration besides that a really good half by the blazers

well...
The Blaers are doing half of what i said they needed to do... nobody but Wade has gotten going, but when I said "let Wade get his 25," I meant for the game, not the 1st half.

Great to see Roy, LMA and Webster playing well- 60 pts in the 1st half despite Randolph in foul trouble- keep it up, boys.

Go Blazers.

Heh
Anybody else get a chuckle at that Jamaal "Sweat Pays Off" commercial?

Ugh
Jesus, this is getting ugly. Get Roy back in there.

Ugh
And here come the refs with their little whistles... whistling the game away...

by damir on Jan 7, 2007 8:09 PM PST reply actions

WOW
WTF. Did I NOT JUST CALL IT. Nobody touched Wade, he just falls to the ground twirling, and a FOUL?

by damir on Jan 7, 2007 8:13 PM PST reply actions

Uhm
How does Dorrell Wright get more respect than Brandon Roy?

Thank you
THank you referees. Without you, this bs would have not been possible. Way to ruin another game. I hope your kids starve.

this is how mavs fans feel
only for them, it cost them a title.

seriously, dwade is an awesome player but the ridiculous preferential treatment he gets from the refs makes me hate him.

blazers should have won this one big though.

extremely disappointing.  i was a huge randolph for allstar backer, but his inconsistent play lately has made me change my mind.

Totally agree
The NBA officials are terrible. They can easily make someone untouchable.

They protect Lebron James, so they sacrificed Wizards. They protect D-Wade, so they sacrificed Mavericks. They're so desperate to bring another "Michael Jordon" or something.

I hate what I saw.

I have nothing good to say
the officiating was horrendous.  Dw-yane Wade drew so many phantom fouls.  Portland couldn't get to the line.

Portland's second half execution on offense was nearly non-existent.  nearly every possession was a shot clock violation or buzzer beating attempt.

the ticket prices were jacked up.  the service fee or whatever the hell it is was doubled to $4.00, so my $17 ticket cost me $21.  and the cheapest tickets ended up being $14.  I don't remember them doing this in the past, but then again, this service fee thing is relatively new.  I wonder if it was because Miami was a "premium" game or whatever.

to lose it the way they did, with a 14-point third quarter lead at one point was especially disheartening coming off such a nice, hard fought win last night.  but it didn't look like they were tired in the second half, it just looked like they forgot how to execute.

they're now 1-5 in games I've attended this season.  maybe I should do everyone a favor and stop going.
