Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

face of our franchise

I just got the email from the Blazers fast break club about entering the contest to play a video game with Martell and Travis.  It got me thinking about the face of our franchise.  It's been a while since I could see one or two people whenever I thought or heard about the Blazers, probably the last time was Clyde and Terry.  I think that what I'm seeing now is that B. Roy and Martell are becoming the faces for the Blazers future.  It's not just their play on the court as they aren't near the caliber we'd like them to be some day, but the general vibes I'm getting is that they are going to be here for a very long time.  I for one am very happy about that.  I have wanted to have a positive face(s) I could associate with my team for a very long time now and feel we now have that and will have that for a long time to come.

On a side note, How about them Ducks?  Takin it to 'Zona...IN TUCSON.

This would be
a great poll or "Ten Words" question.  I think I'll "borrow" it sometime, if you don't mind...

No Problem Dave
borrow any time you need! You always seem to be able to capture my thoughts in a much more eloquant fashion than i can.

To Me
the face of our franchise is youth. It's JJ, Roy, Webster & Aldrige all together.

Oh yeah, and Zach in handcuffs.

And , YES, how 'bout them Ducks! QUACK!

I think more fun would be
to actually play one on one or horse or something.  That'd be a hoot!  Or take one to the playground with you and challenge any willing sucka to a game of 2 on 2.  WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
