GAMEDAY OPEN THREAD: Hawks vs. Blazers

I don't understand what's up with this guy.  He can shoot on and over people and I've seen him take people off the dribble.  But he doesn't do any of these things regularly.  I want to see him be aggresive.  I want to see him get some of Juan Dixon's mentality out there.  Show me some excitement and drive.  It seems like he is so afraid to make mistakes that we doesn't do anything.  

He is however playing some better defense, but he needs to stop being afraid to make mistakes and start making some things happen.  

Hawks announcers just said "a rare turnover for the Blazers", cause we're amongst the lead leaders in TO's (the good way).  Really?  Is that true?

I know we haven't been as bad lately, but it doesn't feel that true.

And why aren't these home games being broadcast by the Blazers crew?  2 in a row I gotta listen to the other team's TV crew even when it's a home game.

Ridiculous.

So this IS Steve Smith co-announcing?  I thought so, but I looked up who the announcers for the Hawks were, and it said Grant Long was.

I like that Steve Smith and Martell share a number.

Our perimeter defense is playing horrible. We really miss Roy.

I've been busy with homework and not paying attention...

jack has 15 minutes and crap... sergio has ten minutes and holy shit!!!

Martel has 15 points???  when did he start shooting???

Aldridge is doing pretty well too with just a few minutes...

Should sergio and aldridge be playing a little more in this game?

This is pissing me off. It's the damn Hawks!

It was the Hawks!

God dammit! The only team we swept last year!  They have worse injury problems than us! (Although Roy is more valuable than their injured guys)  Webster was hot, but then he gets ignored some more!  Zach was shooting as well as he can, but we don't go into him down the stretch?  I... I, I just can't fathom this.

This hurts more than the loss to the Magic.  In that one, it's a moral victory to be in it... but Atlanta hasn't won here in a decade.  

The only consolation for me is I picked Martell to be the leading non-Zach scorer with 17 points (he had 18, of course) and Jarrett had just 1 assist difference than what I predicted.  Just lost on Z-bo's rebound total (I'm sure everyone did) and the winner of the game!

And now a 6 game road trip... I hope everyone doesn't get too down.  We know we got the pieces we want.
