I played with Ime Udoka at the local gym during the summer. He seemed like a decent enough guy, was doing all the right things, but then again, the competition wasn't all that, and he did not seem like he was really trying. Not putting him down, I am just saying that he did not need to try, and that he was still a level above everyone else.
Hell, the team he played on (this was 4v4 18+), he got everyone to play full-court pressure defense, which shows that he has some leadership qualities in him. Nobody ever plays full-court pressure defense during pick-up games, so that was an impressive feat in itself. He is also big and strong, and he can make a long jump-shot effortlessly. Not only that, but he is quick off his feet because I am still wondering how he managed to catch up to me while I was cutting the lane and block my shot. I was sure that he was a good 7-10 feet behind me, and I am 6'4 (he was about 6'5).
